Amalapuram is a town in East Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a rural area located near and serving Nilambur. Part of the Nilambur taluk and the Manjeri postal division, it is characterized by its forested and mountainous terrain, located near the ecological zone of the Silent Valley National Park.
